October 30th
Last day in BA 😭 (well, for the next month anyway). I started the morning with one final walk through Parque Lezama and San Telmo, a little homage to my morning routine for the past month. Back at the apartment, I did some tidying, light packing, and organizing while Nai worked for a bit.
For our goodbye lunch, Nai and I went to Hierbabuena—our favorite spot. We ordered the usual: our go-to juices, the Caesar salad we’re obsessed with, and some papas al horno con queso. I can’t say I had high expectations for the vegan cheese, but wow—it was hands down the best I’ve ever had. SO good (by my vegan standards lol).
In the afternoon, we headed to Palermo Soho for some shopping. The afternoon heat was finally feeling more like summer but we walked around the area of town with the more expensive stores looking at the cool Argentinean brands and hoping to find a good deal. We did find a cool vintage shop where Nai bought a couple items and made a connection with the shop owners which could be a cool business opportunity for her in the future! After an afternoon of wandering in the warm weather we were tired and ready to head home.
I finished packing, took a shower, and we spent the rest of the evening unwinding and watching our favorite youtube channels for a quiet, cozy last night together in the city.
